With the development of the equipment (purchase of up to date western manufactured drilling rigs instead of the inherited Russian made ones) and focussing on the quality, the company reached the market leader position (35%market share) in its main activity area (geological exploration).

Up to the mid 90’s the Hungarian drilling market - because of the decreasing of the mining prospecting and geological explorations – had diminished continuously, the turnover hadn’t been covered the high operational cost of the company, and then came a loss operational period for many years. For that reason important steps had been done for decreasing the operational cost and increasing the quality of the activity.
